Day One at Urban Wheels

Day One. Urban Wheels Challenge 2015

I was excited for my two-day event photography stint at Urban Wheels, part of the Singapore Festival of Wheels, held at Singapore Sports Hub. I met my friends from HFWW team (Having Fun With Wheels) at Lor Buangkok. It was 6:30am in the morning and the day had yet to stir. But spirits were high and we were all happy that there was not much haze (which was good). We rode a lorry that carried 6 full suspension bicycles, 5 racers and a photographer (me). It took us only 20mins from Lor Buangkok to Sports Hub.

When I arrived at the event venue. I was a bit surprised that part of the race course featured a drop that looked insane and awesome at the same time. Fortunately there was a B line (a flight of stairs).

Stairs drop. Not bad uh?

Hmmm not bad over here and there. Hmmmm

Uncle Jef Ng is preparing the last-minute fixing of the table top ramp (3rd) and soon it was good to go.

Come to Papi! Of course he is very excited and he cannot wait to race!
